Spent some time at the track yesterday, and in between working pit for my friends running, I was able to get track access and get some photos of the run groups.

In Memory Of MATTHEWLIKEWHOA
I woke up the morning of Sunday August 21, 2011 and ran through my usual routine of checking all the forums before I get out of bed. Going through the NESIC subforum of NASIOC, I saw this thread posted by Sean Harvey, my Graphic Designer. To synopsize, 23 year old Matthew Denice, known as MATTHEWLIKEWHOA on NASIOC, was hit while on his motorcycle by a drunk driver. Matthew was dragged for over a quarter mile and died due to his injuries.
I read through it, felt extremely bad. The name did not click, but a quick search of his posts showed he was an active participating member of our local community. Immediately, I thought decal fundraiser. I sent Sean an email and off to work he went.
On Monday, checking on the updates of the thread, I found the Justice for Matt Facebook page created by Matthew’s family. That picture, that smile. Immediately it hit. It was him. Immediately, I knew who it was.

Its been a while. Been busy with other projects, yes, I know there are photo sets I need to get up. Im a slacker.
Ive posted a few new photos to my Flickr, but not much.

Ive been trying to find a cleaning solution for my glass for a while. Ive tried lens tissue, microfibers, solutions, premoistened wipes, and have been dissatisfied with all of them in 1 way or another.
Ive seen/heard the LensPen mentioned around, but keep forgetting to add one to my equipment orders.
On a trip around Boston (proper) the other day, I wandered into Hunts to play with some gear. (I know..I have a problem.) Then I remembered..LENSPEN!

Marcus is the son of a good friend of mine, played in the children’s hockey league in town.
Crop this, jerkfaces.
Not long ago, someone downloaded an entire 300 image set from a show off my SmugMug, created a PS action to automatically crop off the bottom 75 or so pixels of the image, cropping off my watermark, then reuploaded it as their own. Needless to say, I was not amused.
Happened to one of my fellow photographers on a forum we frequent the other day. And ya..happens a whole lot more that we dont even catch.
So..I pulled a page out of my Graphic Designer’s book, and did this.

Alright. Just a quick update. Im starting to work back on the site. Changed some things around on the SubieGirls page. Will update the visionDYNAMIX page at some point. Automotive shoots are starting to be booked for the spring. w00t.
